I fell in love with this pillow at the county fair this year. I know the girl who made it and she always does wonderful work.
She made this pillow after one that she saw at her grandmother's house. There is smocking involved with the gray wool fabric and I am not sure how she did the purple flower in the middle. I do know that it was cut by hand.
The purple wool came from our shop and is an as-is fabric. The buttons are antique and you have two options for displaying the pillow.
I believe that her mother said that part of the pattern came from either McCalls or Simplicity patterns. It came from Hobby Lobby.
Doesn't it just look vintage?
